1. Browser storage basics
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a browser. InkWell can also use browser local storage for a limited preference associated with the static site. These mechanisms can remember interface choices and can support optional measurement tools when such tools are deliberately enabled in a production deployment.
2. Consent preference
The public pages save a small cookie-consent preference so the notification banner does not appear on every visit after a decision has been made. That preference is stored under the InkWell browser namespace. It does not contain the text of your documents, your payment card details, or an activation code. Clearing browser storage removes the remembered choice and allows the visitor to make a new selection.
3. Analytics
The notice shown on the site states that cookies can improve the experience and help analyze traffic. If analytics are connected in a production deployment, the exact provider, categories, retention period, and applicable choices should be described with the deployed configuration. Visitors should review the final live disclosures instead of assuming that every optional measurement tool listed in a general design specification is active.
4. Third-party providers
Payment providers, authentication systems, support platforms, or embedded services may set their own browser technologies when they are connected to a production version of InkWell. Those providers can publish separate privacy and cookie notices, and their technologies may have settings that are independent of this website. A static package does not by itself create a third-party tracking system unless the related integration has actually been installed and configured.
5. Managing cookies
Most modern browsers allow visitors to block, delete, or limit cookies through privacy controls. Blocking some storage can alter whether a consent preference remains remembered or whether optional analytics operate. The basic InkWell public pages can still render without requiring a persistent marketing cookie, although account and integrated services may use additional mechanisms when enabled.
6. Consent choices
The site displays Accept and Decline controls in the cookie banner. Selecting one records the decision locally and dismisses the banner. A visitor can clear the relevant browser data later if they wish to revisit the choice. Consent preferences are intended to describe a browser-level decision rather than a guarantee that every possible tracking technology has been enabled or disabled across unrelated providers.
7. Policy changes
Cookie practices can change when new integrations are introduced or an analytics system is removed. This page should be revised to describe the technologies actually used by the production site. The objective is to keep the explanation specific enough that a visitor can understand why browser storage exists and how to manage it without presenting unused services as though they were active.
