Refund Policy
Last updated: May 1, 2025
1. Full-refund commitment
We offer a full refund within 30 days of any payment, no questions asked. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. This promise is intended to make the financial relationship clear before a customer begins a paid subscription and to provide a simple path when the service does not meet a customer’s needs during the first thirty days of a payment.
2. What counts as a payment
The 30-day window applies to subscription payments made for InkWell, including a first paid month and later recurring monthly payments. The 14-day trial is different because it requires no credit card and nothing is charged during the trial. If a customer chooses a paid plan after the trial, the first payment begins the applicable refund window.
3. Starting a request
To request a refund, contact InkWell support with the account email, the relevant subscription, and the date of the payment. Contact information is displayed only when configured in the central company data file. The policy does not require a customer to provide a lengthy explanation of the reason for requesting the refund. Providing enough information to locate the account simply helps the review happen accurately.
4. Review and processing
After a request is received, the payment is reviewed against the published 30-day window and subscription record. When the request qualifies, the refund is initiated to the original payment method. Banks, card networks, and payment processors may introduce additional timing after the refund is initiated, which is why the published external processing window is 5-7 business days.
5. Cancellation and future renewals
A refund and cancellation are related but separate actions. Customers who do not want a future monthly renewal should also cancel the subscription in account settings. Cancellation has no cancellation fee and normally leaves service access active through the existing paid period, subject to the applicable account terms. The current demo checkout does not create a real recurring charge until a production payment system is connected.
6. Trial transition
The free trial is intentionally described before checkout so the billing sequence is visible. Nothing is charged during the 14-day trial. If the customer converts to a paid subscription, the resulting payment is covered by the 30-day refund promise described on this page. The customer remains responsible for checking the current plan and billing notice before completing a production purchase.
7. Policy maintenance
The refund policy will be updated when payment, subscription, or customer-support processes change. The page displays its revision date so customers can identify the version being presented. The intent is straightforward: make the promise visible before checkout, keep the request process practical, and return approved funds through the original payment route.
