Documents you write with InkWell are never used to train language models. When a plan includes AI rewriting or another assisted-writing feature, selected text is processed to provide the requested editing function. The service is designed around user-controlled writing workflows. Users should review the terms of any third-party integration before placing confidential material into an external service, because a connected provider may have its own processing rules.
4. Security practices
InkWell is described as using encryption for data in transit and at rest in supported service environments. Operational systems may also use access controls, authentication safeguards, logging, and monitoring. These measures are intended to reduce unnecessary exposure, but no software service can promise absolute security.
